LOTRO Players Podcast announces graphics and design upgrades and post-Mordor!

Andang and the other members of the LOTRO Players Alliance put out their weekly podcast on December 23rd and mentioned a couple of very exciting things. One is that when the Mordor expansion drops in 2017, we will see a dramatic upgrade to graphics and designs in the game including the appearances of player characters which has stirred up a bit of controversy among some players. Secondly, now that LOTRO is moving from Turbine and Warner Bros. ownership to Standing Rock, the dev team is looking well beyond the end of the epic storyline now that they have the creative freedom they didn't before. Its more likely now that we will see post-Mordor content like the Southfarthings and Grey Haven as well as other locations in Middle Earth mentioned by Tolkien in the books but never before seen in the game.
